The design

In the secret language of colours, blue reduces stress, creating a sense of calmness, relaxation and order.  What on earth is more calming than lying on your back and looking at a bright blue cloudless sky!  The paler the blue, the more freedom we feel… to dream… to be calm… to connect. We wanted to design a mat that represented all of this… a mat that connected emotion to our yoga practice… and result is our dreams and starlight.

Materials used in its creation

This absolutely stunning yoga mat is constructed from natural tree rubber used as the bottom layer, with the newest technology microfiber top layer heat sealed on top.  The natural rubber makes for a stable base and awesome grip, with enough cushioning to give you all the support you need.  This mat was designed for bikram or hot yoga, as traction is activated by moisture.  With the ecolux range there is no need for a yoga towel as the microfiber layer is there to absorb sweat.  Also perfect for Vinyasa and power type yoga practices where you wish to glide between poses and engage your core.

The top layer is made from soft, luxury microfiber material that has been heat pressed onto the bottom rubber layer. It provides a positive, warming flow energy for your practice.

Care instructions

To clean your yoga mat, wipe with a cloth dipped in a mixture of warm water and a little mild detergent. Follow by wiping with a clean damp cloth to remove the detergent. Leave to air dry before rolling or using again. (DO NOT USE A TUMBLE DRYER). You can also hose it down and leave it to dry in the shade
