guilt free grain free chocolate brownies

chocolate brownieingredients

  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder or carob powder
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup honey or 1 cup light brown sugar (if you don’t mind the sugar)
  • tons of cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract, optional
  • pinch of sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

easy peasey recipe

  1. preheat the oven to 350
  2. line the baking dish with baking  paper
  3. melt  the coconut oil over low heat (fire hazard if done without proper precautions)
  4. mix together all ingredients except the eggs and the honey.
  5. when the batter forms, mix in eggs and honey to make a smooth consistency and pour in the baking dish
  6. sprinkle the dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs liberally (very important)
  7. bake in the center for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. cool for 30 minutes before cutting or removing from the pan.
  8. store them in an airtight container
